Where Does Our Milk Go?

Milk from Jefferson County goes to two primary locations, Great Lakes Cheese in Adam, NY where award winning natural aged cheddar cheese is produced, and to Crowley Foods Inc in LaFargeville, NY where award winning cultured dairy products such as cottage cheese, cream cheese, yogurt, and sour cream are made.   Some of our milk goes into Byrne Dairy Products, McCadam Cheese, Cabot Dairy products, and Queensbury dairy products. From time to time, some Jefferson County milk will go into fluid milk production around the Northeast depending upon demand.
