Building on February 14, 2008. The purpose of the workshop was to provide landowners with information about the proposed electric transmission line from the Town of
Henderson in Jefferson County to the Town of Parish in Oswego. The power line is proposed by Upstate NY Power Corporation. Speakers included Robert Burgdorf, esq., attorney
for Upstate NY Power Corporation, Matthew Brower, Agricultural Resources Specialist with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Brian Wohnsiedler,
Executive Director of the Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District, and Deanna Nelson, esq. attorney with Goldberg Segalla Attorneys at Law. The workshop was
co-sponsored by the Jefferson County Agricultural Development Corporation and Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District. Funding for this video was provided by
Jefferson County Farm Bureau and Jefferson County Agricultural Development Corporation.
