Jefferson County is home to the Great Lakes Cheese Company’s Adams, NY Plant. In 2007 they built a new $80 million plant here manufacturing naturally aged cheddar cheese. H.P. Hood owns the Crowley Foods Plant in LaFargeville NY manufacturing cottage cheese and sour cream. Next door in Lewis County you’ll find the largest manufacturer of Cream Cheese at the Kraft Foods Plant. Within 100 miles of Watertown there are at least 5 other major dairy manufacturing operations.

Lots 10 and 11 Jefferson County Industrial Park – Owned by Lundy Development and Property Management, LLC. (1 mile from Interstate 81)
Lots 10 and 11 comprise an 8.5 acre parcel. This site can easily support an 80,000sq ft facility. Lot 3 across from these sites is available and could support employee parking. Lots 10 and 11 are zoned for manufacturing and processing and the local municipality has approval for construction of two 40,000 sq ft facilities. Approval for agricultural manufacturing could be completed within 60 days. A great deal of site work has been done with preliminary environmental work complete.
